Waltham Forest Supports the first UK Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday is all about encouraging everyone in the UK to support small businesses, both on the day and beyond.

This year will see the first Small Business Saturday in the UK, held on one of the busiest shopping days of the year - 7th December and  is all about encouraging people to shop in their local and independent retailers, and use local services as opposed to chain brands.

Waltham Forest is encouraging all small businesses to participate in this event to encourage residents to shop locally.  When you register HERE promotional information will be sent to you to display in your shop, and your business will be marketed in the borough wide campaign to Waltham Forest residents. 

Businesses can promote themselves by offering incentives to shoppers who visit their shop on 7th December. Incentives can be discounts, buy one get one free ... anything you like!
