Following on from the success of the first round of pop ups - budding entrepreneurs, community groups and local artists are again being encouraged to apply for an exciting opportunity to occupy a retail unit in the heart of Walthamstow rent and rate free.

Waltham Forest Council wants to support start-up businesses and community innovators by providing space for them to test their ideas on the market, as well as offer interesting new concepts to shoppers on the high street. Applicants can request the unit for 2- 6 weeks to create an on-going series of ‘pop-up’ uses.

The council is looking for a range of proposals that will offer something unique and interesting to the high street. In addition to Hoe St Central we are also offering 76 Old Church Road, Chingford as a pop up unit.

For more information and to apply visit www.walthamforest.gov.uk/LoveYourHighStreet or call 020 8496 6800.

The units will be open until March 2015.

Hi, I create silk floral designs, soft furnishings and gift baskets and would like a place to show case my work. Can the space be let to a group of people or can one person be host to a mini market. I understand the space is free.
