Take a Bite of Appetite 2013 1st-30th June Appetite is a new food and drink festival for Waltham Forest with an accompanying programme of art. Developed by Artillery, also responsible for delivering the E17 Art Trail, Appetite will celebrate local food enterprises, individuals and businesses involved in food and drink throughout June this year. “Appetite has developed in response to the growing number of artists demonstrating food as an art form during the E17 Art Trail, an annual arts festival in Walthamstow. Many restaurants, cafes and pubs have been host to creative events over the eight years of the E17 Art Trail. We'd like to place a spotlight on the incredible spectrum of food and drink that we have on offer in Waltham Forest. With this new venture we'd like to continue celebrating where we live, create further opportunities for local enterprises and frankly, enjoy great nights out right on our doorstep!” Laura Kerry, Festival Organiser Notes for Editors: Appetite will be delivered by Artillery, a not-for-profit organisation, together with its partners To Market and Auntie Maureen.
